➔ Who's Appearing?

Ning Cai - Author of Misdirection, the first book of a new mystery trilogy. For years, she was known as "Magic Babe" Ning, a multi-award-winning stage illusionist and escape artist. She now spends her time writing books, conducting workshops and making appearances in her new persona, Ning: Mind Magic Mistress.

Ang Geck Geck Priscilla - The film-maker snagged the Best Fiction Short Film prize at the 2013 Singapore Short Film Awards with her final-year project, Broken Crayon, a story about child sexual abuse. She has since gone on to do more short films such as Rice Wine Chicken and Three Little Pigs, as well as notable commercials for Tic Tac, TODAY, Mastercard,POSB, OCBC Bank and more.

Monica Lim - Founder of Hedgehog Communications, a writing agency that has grown to become one of the most established writing outfits in Singapore. She is the author of The Good, the Bad and the PSLE, and created the Danger Dan character. Together with her daughter Lesley-Anne, they came up with the series, Danger Dan and Gadget Girl, for children, as well as the bestselling Secrets of Singapore series.

Linda Locke - The co-author of the soon-to-be released picture book, Agnes and Her Amazing Orchid, about how Agnes Joaquim created Singapore's National Flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, was previously running top ad agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising and Leo Burnett Advertising. She has more than 300 creative awards to her name.

Diana Gale - better known to the online community as The Domestic Goddess Wannabe is a full-time cooking instructor, online retailer, blogger and mother of two. Her culinary blog, The Domestic Goddess Wannabe, won the Best Cooking Blog gong twice at Singapore’s Blog Awards. And now, she's an author: She will be launching her debut cookbook, The Domestic Goddess Wannabe Bakes.

Angjolie Mei- Formerly a financial advisor, she is now a certified funeral celebrant and a funeral director at The Life Celebrant, a provider of boutique funeral services — and one of the few women in the funeral services industry in Singapore. Her book, Dying to Meet You, chronicles her career- and life-changing decision.

Nuraliah Norasid - Epigram Books Fiction Prize 2016 winner for her book, The Gatekeeper, Nuraliah holds a PhD in English Literature and Creative Writing from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She works as a research associate at the Centre for Research on Islamic and Malay Affairs - RIMA, where she studies marginalities and the confluence of religious ideas and secular society.

Maryann Koh - She is the managing partner and head photographer at the popular The Studio Loft. Maryann is also one of the Nikon School Singapore instructors, and she specialises in newborn, maternity & family photography. She is also a mother of 2.

Pamy Tan - A TV writer who wrote for TV shows such as The Noose, Pamy has been with Singapore's The Improv Company since 2014. She is a performer and co-director of Les Musicables, a team at the company that specialises in fully improvised musicals.

Hui Wen - Co-founder of Studio Asobi 悠遊陶坊, a local ceramics home studio, Hui Wen left a rewarding corporate career because she sought new meaning in her life. In 2013, after visiting Tajimi, one of Japan's famous pottery towns, she decided to practice ceramics full-time. She and her husband regularly run workshops and they donate 20% of their profits to Mercy Centre, a local charity that supports the homeless.

Linda Locke will speak about her new book, as well as the challenges she faced as she worked her way up the corporate ladder in Singapore.

🍰 Baking in Style
Time: 2pm - 3pm
Diana Gale will be launching her new book, The Domestic Goddess Wannabe Bakes and serve up some tips and ideas on how to up the ante for your next baking adventure.

Five women discuss the next steps we can take in light of the ongoing women issues of our times.
